The written examination for the Assam Secretariat Recruitment 2012-13 has been announced for the post of Junior Administrative Assistant. There were in total 100 vacancies and was offered at Pay Band 2 of scale Rs.5,200-20,200/- per month with Grade Pay of Rs.3000/- plus other allowances vide official Advt. No.S(E).134/2011/19 dt. 13th July 2012. The application procedure for the above recruitment ended on around 10th of August 2012. The Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Assam, Secretariat Administration Department has now announced for information to all candidates who applied for the post of Junior Administrative Assistant in response to the above mentioned Government Advertisement that the written examination would be held on 17th March 2013 at all the District Headquarters of Assam.

With regards to the above, be informed that the examination will commence from 10:00 AM onward on the above mentioned date and will be held for 3.5 hours till 1:30PM. The list of candidates who have been found to be eligible to sit for the written test will be posted at the official website i.e. www.jansanyogassam.nic.in on 10th March 2013. As such all candidates are advised to visit the website and also check the Written Examination venue in which they will have to appear.

Admit Card to the eligible candidates are being posted to their correspondence addresses. All information/instructions to the candidates are also being sent to the eligible candidates along with the Admit Cards. It will also be available at the official website (Janasanyog Assam) after 10th March 2013.

Eligible candidates who do not get their Admit Cards by 15th March 2013 should visit the above website and download their individual admit cards along with the instructions. The examination centre will be mentioned in the admit cards and no change in Centre will be possible at this stage. It must be noted that the Centre of examination has been allotted based on the correspondence address as was mentioned by the candidates in their application forms.

Candidates must paste a recent passport size photograph in appropriate place on the admit card and as such they must keep the same ready with them to avoid last minute disturbance. They will have to show it in the examination centre failing which they will not be allowed to sit for the written test.

Eligibility of Candidates is checked on the basis of the information provided in the application form. Being called for the written examination does not automatically render the candidate eligible for the post of Junior Administrative Assistant. The list of candidates who applied for the post but have not been found eligible will also be made available in the official website as mentioned above.
