SSC CGL 2013 Exam is meant for graduate candidates and those fulfilling all the prescribed eligibility criteria. Candidates applying to the post of Statistical Investigator Gr.II should not exceed 26 years of age whereas for the post of Assistant/Sub Inspector in CBI should be within 20-27 years and for all other posts, applicants must be within the age range of 18-27 years.

SSC CGL 2013 Examination - how to apply?

The application procedure for the above Staff Selection Commission Recruitment exam is through both online and offline mode. Applicants may either fillup the online application form through its dedicated registration portal or otherwise apply offline with paper application. There will be a non-refundable fee amounting to Rs.100/- only for all candidates other than those of Women, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Ex-Serviceman and Physically Handicapped candidates.

The fee applicable can be paid by means of CRFS stamps available through Post Offices in case of applicants opting for offline/paper application mode while the online applicant may use SBI Netbanking to pay directly or otherwise download the system generated SSC CGL Challan and deposit the fee as cash in any SBI branches. These includes Assistants, Statistical Investigators Gr.II, Auditor, Tax Assistant, UDC, Compiler, Jr. Accountant, Accountant, Inspector, Sub-inspector etc. in different Ministries, Departments, Offices and Cadre. All these posts are classified under either Group B or Group C post. Group B is offered at a scale of Rs.9300–34800/- and Grade Pay of Rs,4,600 and Rs.4,200/-.
