FCO, AFCO and JA Recruitment in ATPPF & PF Scheme, Board of Trustees, Guwahati

Recruitment for Graduates to the post of Fund Control Officer, Asstt. Fund Control Officer & Jr Assistant by Board of Trustees, ATPPF & PF Scheme, Guwahati.

Board of Trustees, Assam Tea Plantations Provident Fund And Pension Fund Scheme published a recruitment notification for several job positions in Assam and has invited applications from intending candidates being citizens of India to apply in the prescribed standard form as available in Part IX of the Assam Gazette for filling up the vacancies in the Head Office and different districts of Assam. The posts that are available under this recruitment are Fund Control Officer, Asstt. Fund Control Officer and Junior Assistant. As for the educational qualifications, we have already mentioned that the above Recruitment in Board of Trustees, A.T.P.P.F. & P.F. Scheme, Guwahati is meant for Graduates only. In this regard, be informed that for the post of Fund Control Officer and Assistant Fund Control Officer candidates must score 50% in graduation (any stream). For Junior Assistant post, apart from being a graduate, the candidates must hold a diploma/certificate in English/Assamese typewriting with speed of 40/30wpm respectively and should have knowledge of computer applications like MS Office package i.e. Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc.

There is also an age criteria which requires the applicant to be within the age range of 18-38 years as on the 1st January 2013 in order to be eligible. SC/ST candidates may avail relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years.

How to apply for FCO/AFCO/JA Recruitment in Assam?

Interested and eligible candidates may apply to the above recruitment in Assam in standard form so as to reach the concerned office on or before the last date i.e. 30th January 2013. The attested copies of the following documents are to be submitted along with the duly filled in application form.

  • Duly signed 3(three) copies of recent passport size photograph of which one must be pasted on the form and two copies stapled.
  • Certificates in support of age must also be submitted.
  • Attested copies of degree passed marksheet and certificates.
  • Certificate in support of knowledge of typing and computer in case of the post of Junior Assistant must be enclosed.
  • One must also submit caste certificates (if any).
  • Bank draft drawn on SBI and payable at Dispur favouring "Secretary-cum-P.F. Commissioner, Board of Trustees", for Rs.300/- (Rs.200/- for SC/ST) for the post of FCO/AFCO and Rs.200/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST) for the post of Junior Assistant is to be enclosed alongwith application.
  • Candidates must also mention the Employment Exchange Registration Number and submit xerox copies of a valid registration card.

For the selection process, there will be separate test or examinations for the FCO/AFCO/JA posts and eligible candidates will have to appear first in a preliminary test. Those who qualify in the preliminary test will have to appear in final written examination and those who qualify in that test will then appear in the viva voce. Combined marks of final test and viva voce secured by a candidate shall be considered for selection. The preliminary and final test will be held in the subject matters of General Studies, English and Arithmetic.

For FCO/AFCO post, the preliminary test will contain multiple choice questions and will carry 150 marks whereas final test will carry 200 marks and viva voce will be of 50 marks. For the post of Junior Assistant, the preliminary test (MCQ) of one paper will carry 120 marks, final test will carry 150 marks and viva will carry 30 marks and performance in these test will be taken into account.

The date and venue of the above mentioned examination will be notified later and candidates must appear in these tests (when called for) at their own expenses. Application of candidates which are incomplete or of those who are engaged in canvassing (directly or indirectly) will be rejected and their candidature will be disqualified. Application must be made separately for each post.
