As per an advertisement published in this regard, there are in total 24 vacancies out of which 03 post are reserved for ST(H), 2 for ST(P), 7 for SC, 6 for OBC/MOBC, 05 post as Unreserved, 01 for physically challenged candidate and 01 post under compassionate ground that is already been recommended by the District Level Committee under OBC category. ST(H) reservation shall be extended only to ST(H) candidates with caste certificate issued by the competent district authority stating that the candidate belongs to ST(H) residing in plains area as per Govt. norms.
Tinsukia DC Office Recruitment - Eligibility CriteriaCandidates must be an Indian citizen and his/her age as on 1st January 2012 must not be less than 18 years for all categories whereas the upper age limit is prescribed as 38 years for unreserved & OBC/MOBC category and 43 years in case of SC/ST category. In addition to this age criteria, candidates must fulfill the essential educational qualification of minimum Higher Secondary examination passed with skill of Typewriting both in English at a speed of 40 words per minute and in Assamese @30 words per minute. Junior Assistant Recruitment in Tinsukia - How to apply?In order to apply, candidates may use the standard form as published in the Assam Gazette. Those who have registered their names in the employment exchange must mention their registration numbers along with the dates in their application. Attested photographs of candidates should be appropriately pasted in application form additionally, filled in application should be appended with three non-pasted latest passport size photograph (attested by Gazetted Officer) must be submitted at the Public Grievance and Application Centre at the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Tinsukia also accompanied by attested photocopies of relevant documents/testimonials. Recruitment in Tinsukia DC Office - Selection ProcedureCandidates applying for the post of Junior Assistant have to appear initially in written test, the date for which is tentatively fixed on 12th January 2013. The date is subject to change in case of exigencies especially related to forthcoming Panchayat Election in Assam. For all categories, all efforts will be made to send the call letters to the concerned candidates applying for the above mentioned posts in time. However, if any bonafide candidate does not receive the call letter before the date of the written test/oral interview etc. they shall collect the same from the Recruitment Cell which is located at Public Grievance & Application Counter, Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Tinsukia on or before the date of respective examination/test. No claim for non-receipt of call letter will be entertained subsequently.
Original documents shall be produced by the candidate who shall appear in person when called for verification. No admission to any examination centre would be permitted without production of call letter pasted with attested photograph of the applicant.
