Eligibility Criteria and Other Requirements

As per the eligibility criteria of the said Reserve Bank of India Recruitment 2012 for 1000 Assistants, the applicant must belong to the age group of 18-28 years or otherwise not born anytime before 02/03/1984 and after 01/03/1994. There are reservations for relaxation in age for different categories like SC/ST, OBC, PWD, Ex-Serviceman, widows, divorced women and Ex-employees of Govt. offices & banking institutions applying through employment exchanges. In addition, a minimum educational qualification is set which requires atleast a bachelor’s degree in any stream having scored an average of 50% marks. The applicant must also be well versed with the word processing task on computer.

Selection Procedure - Written Test and Interview

The selection of candidates will be done by conducting a Written Examination carrying 200 marks followed by an Interview. The RBI Recruitment written examination 2012 will be held on 29th April 2012 and will be based on five Objective Type tests. The syllabus includes the following subject matter and each of these tests will carry 40 marks.

After the written test, the results of successful candidates will be announced in around June 2012 and they will be called for interview. Application Procedure and Fee Payment Details

You will have 20 minutes to complete the form and fill-up all fields with relevant details and particulars. For this purpose, you will need a valid email address and also need to scan the signature and photograph to be uploaded though the RBI Recruitment 2012 online application form. After submitting the application form, you have to note down the registration number and password which will be sent through email and sms. In case of any mistake, you will have the provision to re-edit the form for three times before it gets locked down. After successfully registering yourself, you will have to pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs.385/- offline after the second working day of your registration and should be completed within next three days to remain valid. You will have print the system generated RBI Recruitment 2012 Challan after submitting the form and use it to deposit the fee in any of the banks namely Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, UBI, CBI, Indian Overseas Bank and Bank of India.
