As per the employment notice being published and circulated through newspapers and media in this regard, the recruitment in Soil Conservation Department Assam is to be carried out for four designations and a total of 16 numbers of vacancies. Having said that, the number of post available against each job position are Soil Conservation (Overseer: 7 Nos; Junior Demonstrator: 1No.; Junior Assistant: 2Nos.; Field Worker: 6Nos.) which are further distributed among the different categories of reservation as per the provision and rules shown below:-
The eligibility norms are quite basic and have low requirements in terms of educational qualifications. These vacant posts in Assam are generally meant for HSLC passed candidates. The applicant must also furnish the caste certificate being issued by DC/SDO of the concerned district in proper format.
