The much awaited Assam Higher Secondary 2012 Routine is finally announced by AHSEC and students who are about to appear in the said 10+2 examination in Assam can start their preparation accordingly. The H.S.(10+2) exam is scheduled to be held in the state from 24th February 2012 onward and the programme has been made available by the board/council. It will take place for 17 days in the month of February-March 2012 having few days of gaps in between certain subjects. The practical examination will be held from the 26th day of March 2012 and the dates will be fixed separately batch-wise in the colleges.

The Higher Secondary Exam Programme 2012 for vocational stream are listed in the following table. The practical exam dates will however remain same as mentioned above i.e. from 26th March 2012 onward. Also, it will be conducted on the Afternoon session for this category and the exam for all the subjects will commence from 1:30-04:30 PM on the dates as mentioned below:-
The papers which are available for Modern Indian Language Subjects/Alternative English and English are same for both the vocational and final category of [Arts/Science/Commerce] steams for the 2012 session. They are as follows:-
MIL Subjects (Papers)
The Advance Language Papers includes Advance Assamese/Bengali/Bodo/Hindi and Advance Manipuri. For candidates of vocational stream can make a selection between MIL subjects/Alt.English or English. The candidate will also have the option to chose both of them and appear in the exam and in such a case the one subject out of the two in which the marks are better will be taken into account.
