Apply AIPMT 2012 Online - Application Forms, Registration, Schedule & Syllabus

Online registration of the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Exam 2012 has started and all candidates who are interested to appear for the AIPMT 2012 Examination can submit their application forms and apply for the same. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) who would be conducting this entrance test has finally announced it after some controversy that was associated with the NEET which is now deferred by one year. The AIPMT 2012 syllabus, information bulletin and exam schedule are made available including the fee details which will be required to be paid as per the various categories as applicable.

The dates or schedule of the AIPMT Examination 2012 can be found in the table given below. It includes all important dates that is concerned with this medical entrance test to be conducted by CBSE, New Delhi.

Now regarding the eligibility criteria, the applicant has to first fulfill the requirements in age limit which is defined as 17-25 years. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 5 years for candidates belonging to the category of SC/ST/OBC. Detailed information regarding it can be found from AIPMT 2012 Information Bulletin attached at the end of this article. The educational qualification necessary to fulfill the eligibility norms are divided into six different Qualifying Examination Codes which are explained in details in the Bulletin itself.

The entrance test fee which is to be paid at the time of application is listed in the table given below. The table lists the various fee applicable for each category including the First Late Fee and Second Late Fee details in case if the payment is intended to be done later within the time-limit as mentioned earlier.

Procedure to apply for AIPMT 2012 Examination

As already highlighted earlier, you can apply for the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Exam 2012 from its official website which is available at You will need to remember the registration number while filling-up the application form online. There is no AIPMT 2012 Challan and hence the mode of payment accepted by them includes Debit/Credit Cards and Demand Draft. You will find the onscreen instructions while going through the various steps while inputting the particulars in the form and you will need to follow them accordingly. For further reference and convenience, you can check the Page No.8 of the Bulletin for step-by-step instruction of the same.

The sealed test booklet will be handed over to the candidate 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the examinations for entering the details in the coverpage using ball pens only. The test booklet can be opened by tearing off the seal only before 5 minutes and wait until the invigilator signals that the test begins. OMR Sheets will be provided as answersheet and the same is included within the test booklet. The candidate will have to darken the circles corresponding to the correct answers. It must be noted here that the input of multiple answers for the same questions or using erasers/whitener is not allowed. In short, one cannot change their answer once he/she marked it on the answersheet.
