There are a couple of job post for Upper Division Assistant and a single post each for Lower Division Assistant, Copyist, Stenographer Gr-III, Office Peon and Chowkidar available at different scale of pay. In order to apply for these vacant job positions, you may send your application in standard form and enclose all the relevant and attested copies of documents and certificates in support of your eligibility and qualifications including three copies of recent photographs. In addition to the above, you must also provide an envelope measuring (5x11)cm which must be self addressed along with a postal stamp of Rs.5 affixed to it.
It is also necessary to mention the name of the post applied for on the right-corner side of the envelope. The completed and filled-up applications must reach the MACT, Nagaon on or before 15 (fifteen) days from the date of issue of advertisement in the daily regional newspapers. Application after the last date or those which are submitted without complete details and particulars will not be considered valid and will be rejected without sighting any reason. For those candidates who are already in service must approach through proper channel and provide 'No Objection Certificate' from the existing employer as well as also enclose a copy of the Service Book. A written test will be held by Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Nagaon and the dates of the exam will be announced later.
Eligibility Criteria and Educational QualificationsThe criteria for each of the available post in the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal recruitment can be found below under the head of each job positions:-
U.D.A. and Bench Assistant: A minimum of five years experience is required as a Lower Division Assistant to be eligible for this designation. Candidates having working experience as Bench Assistant in Judicial court is also eligible to apply. It is also mandatory to have knowledge in using computer & its applications.
L.D.A-cum-Typist: This job position requires the minimum qualification of Matric (HSLC) Passed and a diploma in typing in both Assamese and English as indicated in the advertisement. The typing speed specified for this particular post is 40 words per minute in case of English language and 30 words per minute for Assamese typewriting. The candidate must be a computer literate and those having knowledge in accounting will be preferred more than others.
Stenographer Gr-III: Any candidate having the educational qualification of H.S.S.L.C. or passed in its equivalent examination will be considered eligible. In addition, the applicant must have Diploma in English Stenography from any governmental institute or I.T.I. He/She must also be able to transcribe around eighty words per minute with knowledge in computer operation.
Copyist: The essential eligibility criteria for the post of Copyist is almost similar to that of the criteria set for L.D.A. position except the requirement of accounting knowledge. Preference will be given to applicants having good handwriting.
Office Peon and Chowkidar: Any candidate who is a citizen of India and have passed in Class VIII can apply for any of the two job position mentioned above.
