IBPS Common Written Examination 2011 in Assam will also be conducted along with all other states in India for recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) as well as Management Trainee in around 19 different Public Sector Banks that is operating in the country. There are as many as four examination centers which is allocated for candidates from Assam with one center each for Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura & Nagaland and as such eligible persons from Assam and Northeastern Region can avail the opportunity to apply for Bank PO and Management Trainee job positions through a single exam called as the IBPS CWE 2011 which is scheduled to be held on the month of September. IBPS Bank CWE 2011 Examination Centers in Assam

There will be ten centers for conducting the Bank PO and Management Trainee exam in Assam and North East and these centers are located in Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Guwahati, Silchar, Itanagar, Imphal, Shillong, Aizawl, Kohima and Agartala. So, interested candidates can appear in these centers for the CWE 2011 and accordingly look forward for a successful career in Banking. There will also be some pre-examination training center in Assam & Northeast which will be available in Guwahati, Agartala and Shillong for limited number of candidates who belongs to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Minority Communities.

Syllabus of IBPS Bank Common Written Exam 2011

The following table displays the marks distribution and paper names based on which questions will be asked in the said Bank PO and Management Trainee Recruitment Exam. Except the English papers, all other papers will be provided in both English and Hindi language. There will be negative marking for wrong answers in the object type tests and will cost 0.25 of the actual marks that the question would carry. There will however be no deduction if the question is not attempted but in case if any candidate provides more than one answers, then the entry will be considered wrong and deduction will take place as per the above mentioned rule. Moreover, descriptive papers of candidates securing the qualifying marks in objective test will only be evaluated and processed further.


How to apply for IBPS CWE 2011 Bank Examination?

Application can be made through online method only and is allowed up to 01.08.2011 only after which no application will be accepted. An application fee of Rs. 50 for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and PWD candidates or Rs.450 for other applicants needs to be paid through either online method using Master/ Visa Debit or Credit cards or otherwise through NEFT enabled branches of the participating banks. In case of NEFT method, following details needs to be used for making the payment and some points to be considered.


Any individual making payment through NEFT must submit the NEFT receipt along with the call letters at the time of attending the written examination in the respective centers assigned to them. The online application form can be obtained from www.ibps.in which is the official website of Institute of Banking Personnel Selection who is responsible for conducting the Common Written Examination in order to recruit candidates for the post of PO and Management Trainees in several banks in India. Be informed that the last date of making payment of the application fee is 30.07.2011 and hence should not be delayed beyond the closing date mentioned.
