The Office of the District & Sessions Judge at Dibrugarh (Government of Assam) is looking for eligible candidates to fulfill one vacant post of Stenographer and as such has issued a job notification in this regard on 3rd May 2011. Stenographer Recruitment 2011 Eligibility & Job Details
The eligibility criteria mentioned for the single post of Stenographer in District & Session Judge Dibrugarh is set as H.S.L.C. Passed or equivalent qualification which must be acquired through any recognized board or university. In addition to this, the candidate must be a diploma holder in Stenography in English medium having the ability to input 80 words per minute as minimum speed and 45 words per minute as the speed in typewriting. Application Procedure of Stenographer job in Dibrugarh
All willing and eligible candidates may proceed by preparing an application in standard form as published in part-IX of Assam Gazette which must be duly signed after furnishing complete and authentic details. It must be followed by a xerox copy of other testimonials like educational qualification certificates, age proof certificate, Diploma in Stenographer certificate, Permanent Residential Certificate (P.R.C.), Caste Certificate which must all be attested along with two copies of recent passport size photographs where one copy of the photo needs to be pasted while the other stapled as mentioned in the official announcement.
After providing the necessary documents and a formal application as mentioned above, there will be a selection test which will be based on the following:-

- Transcription of dictation taken on short-hand
- Personal Interview
The last date which is mentioned for making the application is 10 days after the publication of the advertisement and all applications that reaches after the 10 days will not be considered and no excuses would be taken into granted.
