The biggest news of the day is that Osama Bin Laden is dead who was killed by American Elite Forces in Abbottabad, Pakistan and the announcement of this was made by US President Obama who addressed before the media and delivered a statement that it was a historic day and a significant achievement for the country. Although the news spread out like fire on both online and offline media worldwide, there were some speculations regarding the originality of the news as no proof of the said firefight was made available and apart from few statements, there was not any photographs or video footage disclosed in this regard for public preview. But lately, there was one photograph which had been widely circulated over the medium of internet and was seen featured in most of the websites and blogs on the world wide web. But the folks over at Reuters had indicated that it was a photoshopped picture and may not be genuine.

If you carefully watch both the photos, you may have got the impression that the lower half of laden's face on both the pictures are almost identical with similar expression. The former is a file photo that was found on Reuters archive and the later one is the dead body picture of Osama Bin Laden which was circulated on the web since morning. You can also notice some mismatched between the skin tones which creates enough reason to suspect it to be morphed so as to make it look real. However, the photo of Laden's dead body may be false but official sources from White House has strongly claimed that it was indeed the terrorist mastermind of Sept. 11, 2001 terror attack on United States and celebrations can be seen in the streets of Washington, D.C.

Osama Bin Laden had met his own fate after Navy SEALs and CIA paramilitary forces stormed the custom-built compound which was located just few kilometers away from the Military Academy in Abbottabad and was believed to be a very costly hide-out with a couple of security gates and sky high walls. The US forces went on for the mission on four helicopters and hunted their target within around 40 minutes of the mission in which American forces had no casualty except for the damage of one chopper during the raid. Laden was shot in the head along with his son Hamza and three others as report indicates.

The dead body of Osama Bin Laden was buried in the sea as no country has shown their interest and desire to accept his body and as such it has to go through a speedy burial according to Islamic custom as stated by the U.S. Officials. Some official pictures or video footage of Osama Bin Laden's dead body is yet to be disclosed and the one available so far does not seem to be genuine one and may have been edited to make it look similar.
