Also pronounced as 'Jetukar Misa Rong', this romantic assamese movie is said to be directed by Amarjit Kumar Medhi and co-directed by a young talented lady named Umi Deka. The star cast includes some regular assamese actors and actresses of Jollywood such as Ravi Sharma, Rajkumar, Chetna Das, Jayanta Das, Pallavi Medhi, Tanushree Barua, Bhaskar Barman, Deepak Kalita, Anjula Majumdar, Jayshree Barua, Pradip Saikia, Rubul Kalita, Jun Medhi, Junu Kalita, Deepak Kalita, Tutu and many others who are performing in different roles. The choreography is done by Uday Shankar and Rony-Deepak. Makeup is done by Nitu and Kishore while the cameraman who captured the various shots are Sida Bora (Nik), Dibyajyoti Baniya and Bhaskar Borah.

Like all other movies released so far, the music and songs of this feature film are also given prominence apart from that of the screenplay and it includes around 5 different melodious songs which are being directed by Diganta Bharati whereas the music is arranged by Aniruddha Barua. The singers who have lend their voice to the various song titles of the upcoming movie Jetukar Misa Rang are Diganta Bharati, Dikshu, Priyanka Bharali, Dimpi Sonowal and Nabanita.
Jetukar Misa Rang - Story and Release Date
The story will be based on a romantic theme as was informed by the co-director who stated that there will be all elements of entertainment which are generally expected by the audience and the same will also include the culture and traditional lifeline of Assam prevailing in the towns and villages of this region. The summary of the screenplay and story is not known as of now and may be available later as and when the shooting is completed. The picturization is done on some beautiful locations of Northeast such as Cherrapunjee, Chandrapur, Jyoti Chitraban and many other places of the region. It is projected to be released within the month of July 2011 and the shooting of the film is expected to be completed within the month of May 2011 itself.
At the time when the Film Industry of Assam is going through a rough phase, the commitment and dedication of the young and talented artist who are continually involved with improving the situation by offering new films is the only hope that has kept the industry to survive extinction and hopefully their attempts will pay off for good and progressive development of Assamese Cinema. Recent movies like Ramdhenu has already proved the point that good story and better performance is the key to excel and as such was able to record significant success.
Hopefully, Jetukar Misa Rang will also be able to deliver a good show of entertainment when it becomes available for public preview in the cinema halls.
