Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Squad Details for Indian Premiere League 2011 (IPL 4)

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is one of the widely popular IPL team franchise which had succeeded in registering some remarkable achievements in the last three editions of the Indian Premiere League held in India. The team is owned by India Cements Ltd. who purchased the rights over the team in the auction held at 2008 for a continuous period of 10 years paying an amount equivalent to 91 million US Dollar for the same. The squad is being formed under the leadership of Indian Skipper MS Dhoni whereas New Zealand's Stephen Fleming remains the official coach. The M. A. Chidambaram Stadium (Chennai) owned by Madras Cricket Club is known to be the official playground for the team since its inception in the IPL T20 Tournament.

It is considered one of the most successful teams in the DLF IPL Tournament and holds the repute of being the only playing team to participate in the Semi Finals of all the previous three edition and also to be the defending champion having won the trophy in the previous season.
